"Forever," the first cut from UR1's "UR1 White Album," was released by the Franklin, Tenn.-based rock band on June 9.

In a statement, frontman Roger Revette said that the purpose of the group is to rally everybody behind Christ.

"We share the message through our music of God's grace that is available to everyone," he said. "Our prayer for this new single - and all of our music -- is that it will touch the heart of the listener and move him or her closer to the Lord."

The other members of UR1 are Stephen Abernathy (percussions) and Jon Von Boehm (bass). The previous members of the Christian rock band were Travis Jubin on drums and Ryan Hinkle on bass.

In a Facebook post, UR1 member Roger Revette wrote, "FOREVER is doing well in Christian radio charts. Have new photo shoot coming up and UR1 will be on the road soon. Blessings."

The track has yet to be picked up by Christian radio stations, a fact that is not lost on Revette as he said in another social media post, "Hope Christian radio adds our new single FOREVER. today. Blessings. UR1."

The name of the band comes from Galatians 3:28 which says, "for you are all one in Christ Jesus." UR1 has been going around the country on gigs and performances in order to spread the message of God through their music and lyrics.
