"Follow Through," the aptly titled second album by Christian rock band Unspoken, will be released on Aug. 26.

The group is pulling all stops for their second album, collaborating with Seth Mosley (Newsboys), Christopher Stevens (TobyMac), Tedd T (King & Country) and Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay).

However, Unspoken members Chad Mattson, Jon Lowry and Mike Gomez have also put their imprint on the record by co-writing each song.

According to a statement from their label Centricity Music, Unspoken really pushed themselves in making "Follow Through," and fans will be pleasantly surprised by the blending of "horns and electronic elements in fresh ways without altering the core of their musical identity."

"'Follow Through' evidences a forward leap of artistic evolution from the last record, blending hip hop, soul, pop and folk influences to tell the story of the season of life the band members have found themselves in over the last couple of years," the statement summarized.

Chad Mattson, meanwhile, said that "Follow Through" is a resurgence for him after feeling burned out for a long period.

"The whole process of the last few years had just worn me down," he said. "I feel like this record is kind of a resurrection. And with the title track being 'Follow Through,' the theme of finishing as strong as we did in the beginning has emerged. I think this new album represents a fresh beginning for us spiritually and musically."

Fans can choose from two versions of the album, "Follow Through." There will be 10 songs in the standard edition while the deluxe edition will have 14 tracks including the addional four songs like "Can't Deny Your Love," "Sleep In The Storm," "Roots" and "Solid Rock." The deluxe edition will only be available at the Lifeway stores and the band's concerts.
