Tyrese Gibson Releasing a Gospel Album? Actor Addresses Rumors after BET Performance Sparks Speculation [WATCH HERE]

Model, actor, and singer Tyrese Gibson is known for his roles in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise as well as being recognized for his sex driven photos and songs. However, a performance of the crooner with gospel artist Le'Andria Johnson prompted him to address rumors about a possible gospel album.

An older performance of BET's 'Celebration of Gospel' resurfaced this week with a post by Gibson on his Facebook page. The R&B singer posted the powerful performance with the caption, "One performance and now the world wants me to do a gospel album..." The statement caused a frenzy amongst the singers fans because he brought it up out of nowhere.

Whether or not he is considering it is unknown but it is evident by his passion during the performance that he would be good at it. Gibson teamed up with Sunday Best winner and Grammy Award winning singer Le'Andria Johnson for their "godly" rendition Donnie Hathaway's classic "a song for you."

Thousands shared their feedback of the performance with many encouraging Tyrese to go ahead and make a gospel album. "God is calling on you Tyrese, answer Him," one wrote in the comment section of his post. "You're already a VERY spiritual person anyway. I think that you would actually FLOURISH doing gospel. I hope you go for it!!! " another stated.

Gibson is always making the most of social media by using posts and videos to share his views on life and God. He is often passionate with his posts and at times gets criticized for talking about God and Jesus while also using foul language to convey his message.

Gibson is gearing up to release a Double Album, documentary, and book this year. Do you think a gospel album should be next? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
