DC Talk

TobyMac and Kevin Max gave DC Talk fans a taste of nostalgia with pictures they posted on their social media accounts featuring some interesting studio pairings for Toby's next album.

The first picture is from last week, and features Max and Toby posed together for a selfie. "Sang with this guy in the studio today on his upcoming album- the song is beautiful & it turned out amazing- can't wait for you all to hear. #freaksforlife" Max wrote on Facebook.

It is unclear as to whether Tait and Max will be featured on the same song with Toby, or if they will be contributing on different tracks, but nevertheless they are both on the upcoming album. Toby previously had the guys on his track "Atmosphere" off his second solo album Welcome to Diverse City.

Max also took out some time to poke a bit of good natured fun at the Grammy's on Sunday when he posted a picture of DCT winning one of their four awards. "in Honor of The GRAMMYs - I have 4, thats probably more than I should have, but I will not give any of them back to Kanye West." The picture can be seen here.

As one of Christian music's biggest groups of all time, anytime these guys are even in the same room as one another it becomes news. In a previous interview with Max, BREATHEcast spoke about how DC Talk was Christian music's "Beatles" of sorts. Max agreed with the sentiment and said, "The four of those guys together brought something really interesting to the table. It's very similar to what Toby, Mike, and I were like as writers," he shared, "I do a certain thing, Michael does a certain thing, and Toby does a certain thing, but all together it creates this thing where nobody can ever sound like it."
