Tim Tebow News: Ex-NFL QB Continues to Inspire With Message of Jesus Christ - 'So Humbled He Gave His Life for You and Me'

Tim Tebow has created many unforgettable moments of inspiration on-and-off the field during his brief NFL career thus far, but he has become even more well-known for his strong faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ no matter what difficulties or challenges come his way.

Despite the fact he is no longer playing as an NFL QB, Tebow continues to provide inspiration via his Twitter account practically on a daily basis to his fan-base.

Earlier this month Tebow took to Twitter to encourage his followers: "Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2 #thankful."

In addition, Tebow also offered the following words of encouragement to his Twitter followers last month regarding God's love for humanity.

"So humbled that the Son of God would give His life for you and me. We have hope because He lives! #HeIsRisen," tweeted Tebow in late April.

Last week, the former Denver Broncos and New York Jets QB also went on Twitter to reveal he was going to a recent fundraising event at The City Church.

"Looking forward to hanging out tonight with @judahsmith and @thecitychurch in Seattle! #nightsofgen," wrote Tebow via Twitter.

The "Nights of Generosity" event was hosted by The City Church's Pastor Judah Smith on Friday, and the event was also attended by Hilsong Pastor Brian Houston in an effort to raise money for people in need locally and internationally.

Earlier in the month, the 26-year-old athlete also attended the Central IL Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he gave an inspirational speech about "the life-changing message of Jesus Christ."

"It's encouraging to see someone use their celebrity in such a great way-to spread the word of Christ," said Christian coach and FCA member Andrew Horne. "Tim Tebow is doing the work of Christ in a pretty incredible way."

Previously, Tebow was the guest speaker at Our Savior's Church in Opelousas, Louisiana when he told an inspirational speech about multiple facing adversity even before he was born to missionary parents in the Philippines back in 1987.

"Every single day is a new learning opportunity," said Tebow to the congregation at that time. "God never puts too much on your plate that you can't handle. If God is for you, who can be against you?"

Tebow has never been afraid to express how essential his faith in God is in every aspect of his life.

"It's pretty easy for me to say that the most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ, followed by my relationship with family. And football's later on down the line," said Tebow in an interview with GMA's Robin Roberts.
