'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: More Deaths To Come, Carl To Face Severe Injury, Glenn Dies?

Along with fate involving character deaths, "The Walking Dead" season 6 is also set to see Carl become severely injured, according to the latest spoilers.

Carl is set to possibly lose an eye and become "disfigured," according to a trailer for "The Walking Dead" season 6 episode 9. As per Ecumenical News, the comic book storyline revealed that Rick and Carl ran from the zombie horde, but Douglas Monroe unintentionally shot the latter in the face, specifically in the eye.

While the aforementioned story arc for Carl is not far from happening, the showrunners and writers might deviate this angle from the pages of the comic books. According to Movie Pilot, Ron might be the one to shoot Carl, instead of Monroe. As per the publication, this move would allow the character to make his revenge against Rick, since the latter allowed his mother to die.

In other news, more deaths are set to come in "The Walking Dead" season 6. In his interview with Vanity Fair, "The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott Gimple teased that episode 9 was one of the biggest episodes they had done. In the same interview, comic creator Robert Kirkman agreed that so many people died in the upcoming midseason premiere.

Even fan favorite character Glenn, who is played by Steven Yeun, is rumored to died for real in the upcoming episodes, as per Christian Post.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 is also set to introduce new characters like the villainous Negan, who is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, along with his gang, the Saviors. The series is also going to feature several people from a place called the Hilltop Colony.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 is set to return on Feb. 14 on AMC.
