'The Walking Dead' Season 5 has just released a major spoiler concerning the future of one of the most loved characters on the show.

A photo from the set of AMC's hit zombie-drama reportedly went viral after fans of the series became worried about the future of their favorite character. According to previous reports, Entertainment Weekly recently unveiled an image showing Daryl Dixon. The photo gained different reactions from the fans since Dixon, who is played Norman Reedus in the series, appeared gagged and bruised.

Fans of the actor are actually getting worried that it might be their last chance to see the actor on the show and they're afraid that his character may die in the upcoming season.

Writer and producer of the show Robert Kirkman was previously interviewed regarding the possible plot of 'The Walking Dead' Season 5, however he decided against spilling any spoilers for the show. One thing worth mentioning about his statement is his joke regarding Daryl's character.

"And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show. Oh, and Daryl dies," he added. This was promptly confirmed to be a joke.

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 is currently filming in Atlanta and with the news of Daryl's possible death, fans are surely "dying" from anticipation.
