Death rumors surrounding Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes on AMC's hit zombie drama The Walking Dead, have been confirmed as only a hoax. Lincoln, and Norman Reedus who plays Daryl Dixon, have been spotted on set filming for the upcoming fifth season of the show.

Global Associated News reported that, Andrew Lincoln was killed in freak snowboarding accident. The report stated the actor and novice snowboarder was at the Zermatt Ski Resort in Zermatt, Switzerland, with friends and family. Witnesses claimed he lost control of the board and struck a tree, he was then airlifted to a hospital, but died shortly after the crash.

This shocking news was quickly revealed to be a hoax when photos of Lincoln on season five's set were released by The Spoiling Dead Fans. The two photos, linked below, are timestamped to supply authenticity. Also, The Spoiling Dead Fans have been known to release proven spoilers consistently, so their credibility is rarely scrutinized.
