The Quiet Science’s Third Album, ‘The Rekindling of the Stars,’ Dropping On May 6

"The Rekindling of the Stars," the third album by The Quiet Science that will highlight their signature ethereal music, will finally launch on May 6.

Nathan Walter, the vocalist of The Quiet Science, revealed that this is probably their most worship-centric recording after a four-year hiatus.

"We have always shaped our songs to tell honest stories of life - the good and the bad. Stories that always end in redemption and renewal," he said. "Our songs typically end in a place of worship, but at this time in our lives, we wanted to create a project that was purely worship, focused on restoration."

He describes "The Rekindling of the Stars" as "a worship album that could be deeply personal for the individual, but one that could also be sung in a community setting."

For the third album, The Quiet Science asked Mark Nicks of Cool Hand Luke, Paul Lapinski and Brandon Shattuck to lend their talents to produce some of the songs.

Walter explained that when they enlisted the help of their friends, it was important that anybody on board understood what they were going for in their third album.

"We really wanted the atmosphere in the studio to feel like an actual worship service. We didn't want to try to reproduce or mimic a past emotion," he said. "We wanted it to be in that moment. Mark and Brandon really understood our passion and had that same desire. I think the result comes across in this album."
