The season finale for The Originals aired earlier this week, but fans of the show have plenty to look forward to in season three of the show on The CW, which shares a showrunner with popular series, The Vampire Diaries.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Michael Narducci, the executive producer of The Originals, spoke about some of the things that fans could expect from the third season of the show.

Although viewers have seen the end of Dahlia, they can expect that there will be plenty more villains coming in their direction.

In his statement, Narducci said that the writers are spending a lot of time thinking about what will happen next in the show. "I think when we are finally able to reveal what's happening, it should make a lot of sense and feel like the next stage in what this family will need to go through and deal with. It's pretty frightening and we're having a lot of fun with it."

The producer also had something to say about what would be happening to Davina in the future, as well as what will happen in terms of Marcel.

Narducci stated that when viewers first met Marcel, he was killing witches, so it will not be easy for Davina to make a decision.

However, she will rise to the task of defending herself and those she is leading.

The third season of The Originals can be expected to make its debut this fall on The CW. Until then, there is plenty more speculations to be made about what the new season will bring.
