‘The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers, Rumors: First Three Episodes Announced; Rumored Love Triangle

Season 6 of 'The Mentalist', the hit police procedural television drama on CBS Television Network, ended on a very successful note as viewers saw Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon closing the finale with a passionate kiss. Now, fans are eager to know about the future of the loving relationship between the recently separated FBI officers.

A recent report by TVLine says that 'The Mentalist' Season 7 will start two weeks after Jane and Lisbon's kiss.

In the meantime, Emily Swallow, who portrays the character of FBI agent Kim Fischer, has announced that she will not be returning to the show for the next season. According to TVLine, someone new will replace Swallow to play the character of FBI rookie Michelle Vega, the latest addition to Jane's FBI team.

Rumors are afloat that Michelle Vega may create a love triangle with with Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon who have added another element to the story with their kiss.

Nevertheless, show creator Bruno Heller has indicated that the relationship between Jane and Lisbon will have a somewhat satisfying conclusion. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Heller said, "After (serial killer) Red John goes, for both Lisbon and Jane, there is a palpable sense of 'What now? Do I really want to continue doing the same thing?'."

Even thought fans are anxious to learn what happens on the show, CBS revealed that the seventh and perhaps final season of 'The Mentalist' will not see a Fall premiere.

Tim Kang, who portrays the character of Special Agent Cho, revealed that 'The Mentalist' Season 7 is expected to start sometime in January 2015.

According to a report in the Christian Post, show writer and producer Jordan Harper tweeted the title of the first three episodes as "Nothing But Blue Skies," "The Graybar Hotel" and "Orange Blossom Ice Cream."

As of now, CBS has yet to announce a specific premiere date for 'The Mentalist' Season 7.
