'The Elder Scrolls Online' Release Date, DLC News: Thieves Guild Launching On PS4, Xbox One, PC, New Gameplay, Skills Set, Quests, Rewards

"The Elder Scrolls Online: Thieves Guild" DLC is set to hit consoles in the first quarter of the Year of the Monkey.

According to the official "The Elder Scrolls Online" website, "Thieves Guild" DLC is expected to be launched on Mar. 7 on PC/Mac, Mar. 22 on Xbox One, and on Mar. 23 on PlayStation 4. The DLC features a new story and gameplay, as well as new Thieves Guild passive skill line.

Players who have an active ESO Plus membership can access the DLC while those who do not have can have it for 2,000 crowns in the ESO Crown Store. The base-game patch is packed with new features and improvements, which include gameplay balance chances, combat, grouping incentives and development, scrolling combat text, and 64-bit client for PC. Thus, PC and Mac gamers are encouraged to be part of the PTS for "Thieves Guild" testing.

In the latest game trailer, it has been revealed that gamers are set to arrive at Hew's Bance, at a period of a chaotic Thieves Guild. The upcoming DLC is set to help players learn and use new skills set, allowing them to be heist masters in the game, to complete various and challenging quests.

According to Christian Post, one of the quests is called the "Heist." It involves a 12-players trial that boosts the heist skills of the players' characters and tests the courage and loyalty of the characters' alliances. Those who surpass the trial will receive a treasure, in addition with some rewards and items like in-game quests.

Produced by Bethesda and ZeniMax, the "Thieves Guild" serves as the first official DLC of "The Elder Scrolls Online" this 2016.
