'The Division' Patch Update: Public Test Server, Special Report, Update 1.4 Pushed Back

In line with Ubisoft's "The Division," the game's upcoming Public Test Server (PTS) and Special Report for Update 1.4 have been delayed.

According to Ubisoft's forums, the PTS will not be available on Sept. 15, as previously stated. As per the studio, the PTS process plays a vital role in their evaluation processes after playing the build with their Elite Task Force, along with injecting more time to add crucial factors to the game's Update 1.4 experience.

Also, Ubisoft is set to hold a Special report for Update 1.4 on Sept. 13, as mentioned on State of the Game last week. As per the studio, they had to delay the show at this point, since they would not be able to expose the content that they would like to.

It is added that the Special Report format requires complete presentation of information and the studio is set to use the weekly State of the Game to provide players "more concrete interventions" that would be present in the game's Update 1.4.

For Ubisoft, the game community wants transparency, which they described as something that they aim to give daily. The studio says they don't see leaving players in the dark as an option, and they aim to bring the update to the Agents while bringing players into the development process as much as they can and as soon as they have more information.

As per Ubisoft's blog post for "Tom Clancy's The Division," Update 1.4 is set to address aspects, which include fixing buys, making loot drops relevant to players, challenging enemies and the time to kill, gear sets and weapons balancing, solo player experience, the Dark Zone and PvP balancing, and the quality of life additions, which are dependent to the suggestions of the community.

Overall, Ubisoft is yet to announce details on the date of the PTS and the game's Special Report.
