‘The Diablo III: Reaper of Souls’ Patch 2.1 Release Date Brings Bonuses To Console Gamers - Double Treasure Goblins

To commemorate the release of 'Diablo III: Reaper of Souls' Patch 2.1, consoles get twice as many treasure goblin spawns for a limited time.

Blizzard gave the console gamers of 'Diablo III: Reaper of Souls' 100% experience bonus. This bonus stacks with other existing bonuses, whether they get them from items, shrines, or Pools of Reflection.

A temporary in-game buff will be given to all players who will log into Ultimate Evil Edition this week.

For gamers playing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, their treasure and fun will be doubled since for a limited time, Treasure Goblin spawns in the game will be doubled as well.

The bonus experience and double Treasure Goblin period started in all regions on Oct. 10, at 12:00 am PDT, and will end Friday, Oct. 17, at 12:00 am PDT.

Blizzard did not explain why they gave out different bonuses to console, but hardware limitations keep Blizzard from patching the game on seventh generation consoles.

The bonuses will only be live only until October 17. Gamers who want to earn as much treasure from these goblins as possible, can log in and start playing during the available time.

The update 2.1 brings a number of new features and gameplay elements. 'Diablo III' players will get the chance to chase after treasure goblins when they appear.

Sometimes, treasure goblins open a portal when you kill them. The portal will take you to a treasure-filled realm called The Vault, where a new boss, Baroness Greed awaits. Meanwhile, other gamers that step through a rift, and might find themselves in a location called The Cesspool.
