Tenth Avenue North Confirm Dates For Upcoming 'What You Want' Tour With Hawk Nelson, Dan Bremnes

Tenth Avenue North

Hawk Nelson and Dan Bremnes are confirmed to join Tenth Avenue North as the Christian group goes on their 15-city "What You Want" tour, named after their latest single.

The tour, which aims to support their upcoming album "Followers," will kick off on Oct. 6 in Lenoir, North Carolina, and end in Farmington, Montana, on Nov. 5. The new album is slated for release on Oct. 14.

Tenth Avenue North frontman Mike Donehey said, "In the time when we obsessed over leadership legacy and leaving our mark, I decided that what Jesus said is better- 'Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.'"

He said that a sudden realization hit him in the making of the track "What You Want." What he has been doing all along has been to rack his brain about what he can do for God, when what he should have been doing all his time was to just follow where Jesus might lead him.

"What if I didn't need to be a leader? What if all Jesus was asking me to be was a follower?" he said. "I have a feeling that all the weights would come off, the pressure would stop and maybe just maybe I could finally learn to live from the place of rest."

He then advised his fans to just listen to the message that God will give them, and just follow-whether that is to be a leader or a follower.

This would mark the second time that Tenth Avenue North collaborates with Hawk Nelson, and that's because of their connection to the single, "What You Want." Apparently, Hawk Nelson frontman Jon Steingard has produced the lyric video for the new track.
