Taylor Swift Tour Dates 2015: 'Shake It Off' Star Reveals '1989' Album Worldwide Tour Details [VIDEO]

In latest 1989 World Tour news, singing sensation Taylor Swift announced the dates that her adoring fans can catch her performing the songs from her recently released new album.

Swift revealed the blockbuster news on her official website that her world tour will start next year on May 20, 2015 at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, La.

Her upcoming tour will end on Halloween 2015 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fl.

Other major US tour locations include major cities include Philadelphia, Detroit; Pittsburgh; Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Diego; Dallas and Seattle to name a few.

Surprisingly, it is worth noting that there are currently no concerts that will take place in New York City next year.

However, the newly transplanted New Yorker will perform on July 11, 2015 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Swift recently talked about how she came up with the concept for her new song 'Welcome to New York'

"That song is about the kind of wide-eyed optimism with which I approached my move to New York. I was so excited by the idea of embarking on a new adventure, and the way that that song sounds is basically mirroring that emotion, like, 'Anything's possible here'," said Swift to Billboard in an interview last month.

In addition to the US, the 24-year-old Pennsylvania native will also host multiple concerts around the globe in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Swift explained that her upcoming 1989 album and tour will be different than anything her fans have seen her do in the past.

"This album was made completely and solely on my terms, with no one else's opinion factoring in, no one else's agenda factoring in. I didn't feel that I was having to think too hard about the musical direction. In the past, I've always tried to make sure that I was maintaining a stronghold on two different genres, and this time I just had to think about one, which was creatively a relief. It was nice to be honest about what I was making," said Swift to Billboard.

The first tickets goes on sale publically on Nov. 14, but American Express Card users and TaylorSwift.com members will get the exclusive opportunity to purchase the tickets one week in advance on Nov. 7.
