Taylor Swift has always been considered as one of the nicest celebrities, and her reputation is kept intact after Taylor sightings and fan interactions have confirmed how gracious the singer is.

On Thursday, the star decided to spend time in Central Park with a male friend. As she walked past the boathouse, a group of fans spotted Swift and asked for pictures with her. She smiled and took photos with the group, and even waited for one fan to disembark from a boat so that she could be in the pictures as well.

Not only does she take time to acknowledge her fans in person, she takes to social media to interact with them, and at times, offers some helpful advice. Last week, Swift took to Instagram to reach out to a fan named Hannah, who sent the singer a note about falling for the boy next door"”a nice guy with a girlfriend who didn't know she cared and who might never love her back. It is a scenario that seems straight out of one of the singer's heartfelt songs.

Parts of Hannah's note said, "There's a guy, Taylor, a guy who's sweet and charming and makes me laugh. A guy who grew up across the street from me. A guy who plays guitar like me. A guy who was my first best friend. A guy who I have the biggest crush in the whole world on, and he'll never like me back. (And he has a girlfriend who he adores and she's pretty and has an amazing figure and is actually nice to me.) A guy who will never like me back. @taylorswift can you give me some advice maybe. I love you. Hannah."

Touched, Swift responded on Instagram with this message:

"I think unrequited love is just as valid as any other kind. It's just as crushing and just as thrilling. No matter what happens in this situation, I want you to remember that what you are doing is selfless and beautiful and kind. You are loving someone purely because you love them, not because you think you'll ever have your affections reciprocated. You are admiring something for its beauty, without needing to own it. Feel good about being the kind of person who loves selflessly. I think someday you'll find someone who loves you in the exact same way."

Hannah expressed her gratitude for Swift's encouraging words, saying, "You have no idea how much this means to me, thank you. I feel like you're the big sister I don't have. Thank you, I really did need to hear that from you."
