'Supergirl' Season 2 Trailer, Spoilers: Star Dichen Lachman Is The New Supervillain [WATCH]

"Supergirl" has cast "Agents of S.H.I.E.L..D." star Dichen Lachman to join season 2 as the popular DC comics baddie Roulette. In the comics, the gambling supervillain runs an underground alien fight club in National City and is determined to have Supergirl fight in the ring.

Roulette is a villain with no superpowers. She is known for her ability to calculate odds for the sake of high stakes gambling. In her debut in the comics, she managed to capture several members of the Justice Society of America. She forced the friends and allies in the JSA to fight each other for survival.

Prior to her appearance on "Supergirl," the character has shown up several times on television. She was featured in an episode of "Justice League Unlimited" and "Smallville."

According to reports, the villain will appear in just one episode of the upcoming season.

Lachman joins the long list of other guest stars to grace "Supergirl" season 2, including Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, "Cougar Town" alum Ian Gomez as the new supervisor of Kara, Snapper Carr; Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor; Floriana Lima as Science Crimes captain Maggie Sawyer; "Containment's" Chris Wood as Mon-El; and Frederick Schmidt as John Corben a.k.a. Metallo.

Recently, photos of Lachman dolled up in a long red dress with a slit high enough to reveal her striking snake tattoo were leaked online. In the photos, the actress was filming a night scene with Chyler Leigh and Floriana Lima.
