'Suits' Season 6 News, Spoilers: Mike, Rachel To Be Separated For Two Years; Rachel Waits For Mike?

"Suits" is set to progress by intervals in its upcoming season, as revealed by its creator, Aaron Korsh.

According to Korsh, season 6 of the series will be full of twists and turns as he intends to make it a rocky chapter.

It can be remembered that the previous season of the drama wrapped up with Mike calling off his wedding and volunteering to stay behind bars, while Pearson, Specter and Litt were left to suffer the aftermath of the scandal that he had caused.

Given the season 5 finale, as well as Mike's stint in the Federal reformatory, many wonder where season 6 will exactly pick up.

Addressing this issue, show creator Aaron Korsh told the Silver Times: "We should resume immediately after the final events. You saw that they came back and everyone was gone." Korsh was referring to the scene where Jessica, Louis and Donna came back to the office shortly after the cancellation of Mike's wedding with Rachel.

"Our current plan is to resume with an episode that happens during the first night of Mike in prison and with all the world the firm thinking about what they will do and how to adapt their lives to their new situations," Korsh added.

Another scene to watch out for in season 6 is Harvey's resignation from the firm. In the previous season, he had a deal with Charles Forstman that he would resign from his position to keep it safe from Daniel Hardman.

Producer of the series also revealed that Mike and Rachel will be separated for two years. A lot of things will happen to Rachel, and viewers will get to see more of her life outside the firm. However, whether she would be able to wait for Mike or not will hugely depend on the turn of events in the upcoming season.

USA Network has yet to announce the release date of 'Suits' Season 6.
