Sting WWE Debut 2014 Rumors: Christian Wrestler To Appear At WWE SummerSlam 2014 PPV Event (VIDEO)

In latest WWE news, Sting is rumored to appear at the upcoming WWE Summerslam PPV event after recently signing a new WWE related deal with Mattel toys.

According to an SEScoops report, an unidentified insider revealed that the former WCW champion is expected to finally sign a contract with the WWE, since he is rumored to attend one of the most popular PPV events in WWE history in a few weeks. However, it is unknown whether or not he will make his official debut there.

According to the Wrestling Inc website, Sting will finally meet Vince McMahon for the first time ever backstage before the commencement of the Summerslam event.

In a recent interview, Hercules actor Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson recently addressed the possibility of Sting making his first ever appearance with the sports entertainment company.

"I do, yeah. And I know a guy or two so we'll just put it like that. I do think he's going to come back and I think it's going to be great," said The Rock to CBS-19"²s Chris Van Vliet in reference to Sting.

Sting will appear as a pre-order character in the upcoming WWE 2K15 game in his two iconic versions of the popular performer (the Crow and the Surfer gimmick).

WWE 2K15 will arrive in American stores on October 28 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

In addition, WWE will finally release a DVD entitled "Sting - The Ultimate Collection" on September 29 that will chronicle his entire career in WCW, plus his early days in the UWF organization when he was tag team partners (Blade Runners) with the late Ultimate Warrior in the 1980's.

"Well, aside from video games and action figures and t-shirts and things like that, let's just say that I'm open for anything. I've been very public about the fact that I'd like to get in the ring at least one more time and I've named my opponent on and off over the years. It doesn't matter, though. Just one more ... one more," said Sting to IGN last week.

The upcoming WWE Summerslam PPV event airs Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on the WWE Network at 8:00 pm.
