Cartoon Network has yet to announce the schedule of release of "Steven Universe" season 2, but clips of some episodes that have been recently leaked online have already let the cat out of the bag. Now, it seems that fans of the show already know what to look forward to in the upcoming season.

One of the leaked video clips shows Peridot handing a peace offering to Lapis Lazuli. The clip makes everyone wonder how Lapis Lazuli was able to sneak away from the hate-fusion Malachite when he had pervaded with Jasper. How Lapis Lazuli ended up with the Crystal Gems and what happened to Jasper since Lapis escaped the infusion are two other puzzles that psych out fans.

A report from Christian Today says that in another leaked episode, Lapis Lazuli is shown making the best use of his strength and power to come to Steven's and Peridot's rescue.

Clip of that scene opens with Lapis Lazuli and Steven standing in front of a smashed device which, according to fans, may have been smashed by Steven himself, and may have been received by Lapis Lazuli as a peace offering from Peridot.

As soon as Steven tells Lapis Lazuli that he's never seeing Peridot ever again, Peridot is shown in the video scuttling back as if trying to run off a spaceship. As the three characters try to flee, they all end up in a barn. Eventually, Steven decides that he is in for a rumble with the spaceship, but Lapis Lazuli enters the scene and maximizes his powers to stave it off even before Steven could make a move.

Ecumenical News reveals that "Steven Universe" season 2 may focus on the blossoming relationship between Lapis Lazuli and Peridot. However, the online leakage of videos may influence the creators of the series to move toward a different direction.

The release of the next batch of episodes hasn't been announced yet. The last episode of the series aired last January 8.
