Stephen King Takes Shots at Christians and Conservatives on Twitter for Their Indifference to Immigration Crisis; Glenn Beck Fires Back (VIDEO)

Popular horror author Stephen King recently took to Twitter to speak out against the Tea Party and Christians and their alleged indifference to immigration.

On the Glenn Beck show, which features Conservative view points, they slammed King for some of his more "stupid" remarks on Twitter.

"This is absolutely phenomenal to me. Stephen King yesterday comes out and he is tweeting all day long. He's tweeting about, "where are all the Christians,' "where are all the Tea Partiers,' "I guess when it comes to love thy neighbor, it doesn't count if you're Hispanic,'" said Beck on air.

Some of King's more poignant tweets, read: "Revised Tea Party Gospel: "Suffer the little children come unto me. Unless they're undocumented kids from Central America," and "Much easier to be a Christian when the little children aren't in your back yard, isn't it?"

King and Beck have feuded in the past with the author throwing some harsh words at the talk show host. "This is a guy who said that I was Satan's mentally challenged younger brother. That's what he called me," Beck said concerning some of the work they were doing at the border, "Of course he's not going to recognize our effort"¦ He can't get past his hate."

Dana Loesch of the Blaze provided a rebuttal for most of King's Tweets: "We were at the border easing the burden on border towns and providing resources. Where were you?" and "Didn't see you down there when private groups were feeding kids exploited by cartels, @StephenKing . Were you busy?"

King has since remained quiet on Twitter. In what appears to be half premonition and half irony, King predicted his own "foot in mouth" syndrome on Twitter just days before. "Hey! I'm over 300 tweets and have only stepped in s*** a couple of times. Not bad for a beginner," he tweeted on the 17th.

"Now, if we are just who we're supposed to be, when Stephen King says this, you can reach out in love and say, "Stephen, here are the pictures. Now can we actually have a debate about the issue on the border because we're already doing that,'" concluded Beck on his program, "You win immediately. You don't throw it in his face and say, "Look what we're doing.' You don't do that. You just say, "It's already being done.'"
