'Star Wars 7' Plot, Cast Rumors: Casting List Leaked Online? Will Ian McDiarmid Reprise Role of Emperor Palpatine? Summer 2015 Release Date

Star Wars 7 plot and cast rumors are pretty hard to come by these days; even if you're using the force.

So good luck getting any concrete out of the Star Wars 7 team. Since assigning the now-Disney franchise to sci-fi connoisseur J.J. Abrams, the vault has been closed from the inside.

For those of you just hearing about the seventh installment of the Star Wars world, let me recap some of the rumors and few confirmed details about the upcoming blockbuster.

What we know about Star Wars 7:
- J.J. Abrams has been chosen for director
- John Williams will be back as composer
- Kathleen Kennedy will produce and Michael Arndt will write the screen play
- As for now, Summer 2015 is the expected release date

Star Wars 7 cast rumors:
- Obviously the question fans are dying to have answered: Will the original Luke, Leia, and Han reprise their old roles?
- Just recently there's been rumors of Ian McDiarmid coming back as Emperor Palpatine. Obviously McDiarmid's character was killed in Return of the Jedi. Did the Emperor make a clone of himself just in case?

In fact an alleged casting list for Star Wars 7 leaked online. Reported by MTV, here's what the list asks for:

Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.

Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.

A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.

Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn' t need to be particularly fit.

A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit. 

Forty something male, fit, military type.

Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn't need to be fit.
