Singer-songwriter Ellie Holcomb on Wednesday announced that she has signed a publishing deal with Capitol Christian Music Publishing (Capitol CMP) for future projects. Holcomb released her independent solo debut, As Sure As The Sun, in 2014 to great acclaim which she followed up with the release of her anticipated sophomore album, Red Sea Road, last year.

Her debut album charted at No. 1 on iTunes Christian chart and the same year earned the "New Artist of the Year" honors at the GMA Dove Awards. Red Sea Road debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Christian Album sales chart and on the Top Current Album Sales overall chart.

Holcomb began her musical career by touring the country with her husband in Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors. After eight years, and with the birth of their daughter Emmylou, she decided to take a break from the heavy touring, giving her time to create As Sure As The Sun.
