In the wake of the unrest throughout the United States from the Baltimore, New York, and Ferguson incidents many entertainers have stayed mum as these deaths sparked major racial riots. Artists Lecrae, KJ-52 and others have not stayed quiet and their followers praise them for it.

Popular Christian hip-hop artist KJ-52 took to social media to openly share about the time a race riot broke out at one of his concerts. "In light of everything going on in our country today, reminiscing over this feels very relevant to issues facing us," the video's description reads. See compelling story below:

Reach Records rappers Lecrae and Andy Mineo were both very vocal during the Ferguson riots. Mineo posted an article titled, "#Ferguson: A Gospel Issue," to help his "white friends" who are trying to understand all of the racial tension. Lecrae likewise urged Christian fans to 'Empathize' with the people of Ferguson.

When news of Freddie Gray's death hit and racial riots broke out, Donald Trump tweeted something that prompted hip-hop rappers in the Christian community to emotionally respond. Lecrae and New Orleans rapper DEE- 1 both shared choice words to the millionaire mogul.

Although there was no reply from the successful investor, fans did respond to Lecrae. He told user @MichelleKnochel?? "so r u saying white ppl have no responsibility to act in love & compassion & leadership outside of the "white community"???" adding, "The power of love is not confined to a color."
