'Secrets and Lies' Season 2 Premiere Date, News: Series Postponed? When Will It Be Released?

The launch of "Secrets And Lies" Season 2 is still on hold and fans cannot wait for an answer.

According to Cinema Blend, ABC revealed the premiere dates for their upcoming shows but the show was not mentioned. Previously, the show was supposed to come out on television sometime after midseason.

Despite the absence of the show in the list of upcoming series, the website made it clear that fans should not worry because Season 2 will still be shown, however, on a later schedule.

They wrote that the highly-anticipated series will be on the small screen this coming fall, instead. What could be the reason behind the delay? The site claimed that the show had undergone some changes.

Change is good, right? Apparently, Juliette Lewis will be reprising her role as Detective Andrea Cornell while Jordana Brewster and Michael Ealy join the show as newcomers.

As for Season 2's plot details, TV Line previously reported that Juliette Lewis dropped some hints about what lies ahead for the show. "Everything about this season is different [for Cornell]," Lewis said, on how her character would evolve.

"How she has to handle [a wealthy family], how she handles her investigation is different. She really has to watch herself. There's more things she's up against in her investigating," she added.

More than that, creator Barbie Kligman also said that "it wouldn't bode well for the show if, every season, our star detective did not get the person who committed the murder."

"There's tremendous pressure, and she's a very good detective, and she will find justice," she added. More updates about "Secrets and Lies" very soon.
