San Francisco Giants vs Pittsburgh Pirates Live Stream Free: Watch MLB Playoffs 2014 Online

The San Francisco Giants goes toe-to-toe against the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 1 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The game will start at 8:00 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Giants Madison Bumgarner (18-10, 2.98 ERA) is looking to lead San Francisco (88-74) to a victory in the wild card game of the 2014 National League playoff series against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

"This is the most exciting game. The whole year comes down to one game. If you don't want to pitch in a game like that, something's wrong with you, or you're in the wrong business," said Bumgarner to reporters.

Bumgarner's fellow Giants hurler, Jake Peavy, also revealed how confident he is regarding his 25-year-old teammate (Bumgarner).

"There's not any guy in this locker room who doesn't think if our number is called we'd be ready to go," said Peavy to reporters.

"But at the same time, we've got to recognize that Bum's our guy. He knows that as well. We'll be behind anybody who goes out there, but if it's No.40 - I don't care who we're playing, when, where and how - I like our chances. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but I'll take our guy over anybody in our league."

Meanwhile, The Pirates (88-74) will look to silence the Giants batters with their starting pitcher Edinson Volquez (13-7, 3.04 ERA) when he takes to the pitching mound on Wednesday night.

"We got a good ball club coming in with a big-time pitcher, and it's not going to be easy, just like it wasn't for us last year," said Volquez's teammate and fellow pitcher Gerrit Cole to a reporter, "We're going to have to step up, but we've done it before."
