Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, Specs Leaks, Rumors: Newest Phablet Presents Touchpad Feature; Arriving In Mid-August?

In line with Samsung's Galaxy Note 6, it is rumored that the device is set to arrive in mid-August, along with leaked information, such as a touchpad feature.

According to Patently Mobile, as cited by Neurogadget, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could act as a touchpad, aside from being a smartphone. As per the publication, a patent for the said device shows it in a laptop dock, which serves as a touchpad. In addition, being connected to a laptop allows the device to utilize Windows, in addition to its Android operating system when it is used as a tablet alone.

As per the publication, this rumored feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 makes it a highly useful device for its users. Along with the touchpad feature, the device is set to carry 2.6 GHx Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM, 8-inch screen sized pressure-sensitive screen, a 25MP camera, 256GB internal storage, and a 4,200 mAh battery.

In other news, a rumored release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has also been unveiled. On May 11, Twitter user and mobile reported Evan Blass wrote on his social media account that the device is set to be released in the week of Aug. 15. However, it is only application in the United States.

According to Christian Daily, fans assume that the device's global release is set to be announced in the succeeding weeks, although the Korean-based giant tech firm has not made an official statement about it. A factor that drives fans to assume the August announcement is the fast that the Samsung Note 5 arrived on Aug. 25, 2015.

Overall, Samsung's Galaxy Note 6 is assumed to arrive on Aug. 15.
