Samsung 'Galaxy Note 6' Release Date, Rumors: Galaxy S7 Hints Galaxy Note 6 Specs, Galaxy A7 Scores Highest Battery Life Performance

In line with the high battery life performance of Samsung Galaxy A7, the company is to have solid plans for its Galaxy Note line, including some Galaxy Note 6 specs with its Galaxy S7.

Following the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, many people are now looking forward to the development of its successor, the Galaxy Note 6, according to Christian Today. As per the publication, while the features of the sixth handheld Note device remain cloudy, rumors revealed that the tech giant's Galaxy S7 is set to unveil what to expect from the Galaxy Note series.

Samsung is set to release two Edge devices in its forthcoming Galaxy S7 line, the Galaxy S7 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge+, according to Forbes. The launch of the aforementioned devices is assumed to compete with the rumored release of Apple's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus this year. Also, the tech giant is rumored to add an Edge version for its Galaxy Note 6.

It is also revealed that Samsung is raising the bar for its product lines. According to Patently Mobile, a patent suggested how the tech giant is looking at incorporating a hybrid design to its succeeding Note devices. As per the publication, the concept resembles Asus' Padfone handset, adding that the Samsung device could be docked with a tablet and a keyboard to become a laptop, with the phone as the source of processing power.

In other news, it was also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A7 beat the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 in terms of battery life. According to Phone Arena, the Galaxy A7, which has a 3,300 mAh battery, scored nine hours and 57 minutes, which topped Galaxy Note 5 at nine hours and 11 minutes, and Galaxy S6 at seven hours and 14 minutes.

Along with the aforementioned advancements for Samsung's product line, it is assumed that more developments will follow this year and in the future.
