Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson Tearfully Praises God on Twitter After Historic NFC Championship Victory (VIDEO)

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson recently praised God in various different ways including social media after he led his team to a miraculous 28-22 victory in overtime at this year's NFC Championship game versus the Green Bay Packers on January 18.

As a result, Wilson hopes to lead his squad to back-to-back Super Bowl victories when he faces his counterpart Tom Brady and the rest of the AFC Champion New England Patriots on Sunday, February 1.

"Headed back to the Super Bowl!!!! QBs in the House! Glory to God!One Mission. #MakeThemNotice," wrote Wilson via Twitter on January 18.

The Seahawks overcame a previous 16-0 deficit against the Packers when Wilson threw the game winning 35-yard pass to WR Jermaine Kearse in overtime in order to complete the biggest comeback in conference history.

"Just making the plays at the end. Keep believing. There was no doubt, I just had no doubt. We had no doubt as a team. The funny thing is I was on the sideline right before we went off that last drive and I told (offensive coordinator Darrell) Bevell, 'be ready for the check', for the play that we just ran through the touchdown," said Wilson to FOX network reporter Erin Andrews after the game.

"I said 'I'm gonna pull a touchdown and win the game'. And sure enough man. I just believe that God prepared me for these situations. God's prepared our team too as well. Like I said, I'm honored to be on this team. I'm going to the Super Bowl again."

It is no secret that Russell Wilson is a man who has strong faith in Jesus Christ, but most people probably do not know that he was once visited by the King of Kings in a dream when he was 14-years-old.

"When I was a young kid, I use to always go to church. My parents would take me, I knew about God and stuff like that, but I was always playing sports...I was kind of a bad kid growing up," said Wilson in the "Making of a Champion: Seattle Seahawks" documentary video.

"...I had a dream that my father passed away and that Jesus came into the room and he was basically knocking on my door saying 'Hey, you need to know more about me.' So that Sunday morning I end up going to church and that was when I got saved...I think it was that moment of when I realized that dreams are really real because my dad did end up passing away six years later. I think it got me through a lot of adversity."
