'Resident Evil 7' News Update: Puzzles, Guns, Inventories Making A Return?

The latest news on the "Resident Evil 7" seems to hint a nostalgia feel for the game, especially for those who have followed the entire franchise.

IGN has pointed out that the "inventory tetris" is coming back for the seventh installment of the franchise. With this, you will be forced to assemble items or if pressed for time, just throw them away. You never know, however, if they are going to be important later on in the game.

Of course, there are also ammos, shotguns and knives. Each box of bullets is precious because you may find yourself out of ammo just when you need it most. It says right there in the tagline for "Resident Evil 7," which says, Save your ammo...You'll need it."

Save points are also important as the game advises to always save considering "you never know what will be lurking in the shadows."

There's another change in the gameplay as the point-of-view has changed into the first-person mode.

The "Resident Evil 7" plot was leaked previously by ERRB, as relayed by news site TechnoBuffalo. It said that you will play Ethan and will try to find your missing wife inside a torn-down mansion. However, you are not going to be alone.

"From a first-person perspective, players explore the environment and use pistols, shotguns, flamethrowers, explosives and chainsaws to kill mutant creatures," it said. "Combat is accompanied by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and exaggerated blood-splatter effects."

Watch out for more "Resident Evil 7" news which will be published here ahead of the release date on Jan. 24, 2017.
