'Red Dead Redemption 2' Release Date News, Rumors: Unveiling Taking Place At Gamescom?

Rockstar Games' "Read Dead Redemption 2" is coming soon and it is revealed that the studio may launch the title as a surprise.

Rockstar might surprise its fans and gamers with the title's release, as per Ecumenical News. As per the publication, the studio is not the sort of merely announcing its title's official release date to the fans; hence, it might do how it launched "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5."

It is assumed that Rockstar has fifty percent chance to unveil the title at the Gamescom in this month and at the Tokyo Games Show (TGS) and Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in September. However, the studio has not made any confirmation about the title's appearance at the aforementioned events.

In this regard, it is rumored that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is set to be released at Gamescom this month, as game publisher Take-Two verified its appearance at the event, according to PlayStation Universe. Known as the publisher for various titles like "Mafia III" and BioShock Collection, Take-Two is also known to have unannounced projects, which may include "Red Dead Redemption 2."

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is Rockstar Games' forthcoming open world and western action-adventure game and sequel to the first game "Red Dead Redemption." The game premise is set during the fall of the American Frontier in 1911. It followed former outlaw John Marston, whose family had been abducted by the government in exchange for his services as a hired gunner.
