Rapper Remy Ma Visited by Pastor Sent from Once Rival Foxy Brown While in Prison, 'I Took it Very Personal and I Thank Her For That' (VIDEO)

Female rapper Remy Ma has returned to the music scene after a  six year stint in prison for assault. During a recent interview with 'Sway in the Morning', the emcee said fellow rapper Foxy Brown sent a reverend to visit her at Rikers Island despite years of feuding.

Before Remy's time in jail the Bronx raised rapper had an on going feud with Brown because of several incidents the two had from 2004-2007. On the video/radio show, 'Sway in the Morning', Remy revealed that Brown squashed the beef they had by sympathizing with Remy's long sentence and sending over a reverend to help lift her spirits.

"I was on Rikers at the same time that Foxy was on Rikers and she had been there for a couple of months before I got there," Remmy said, "I didn't get to see her or interact with her, but they had us in closed custody, where you don't get to interact with the other inmates, but... she would send the reverend of the prison, who she had I guess already built a relationship with because she was there for a while, and she would send him to come talk to me, try and uplift my spirits."

A very humbled Remy went on to say, "I really appreciate that from her, it was like being the bigger person."

"When she was sending this reverend to come see me, I took it very personal and I thank her for that. I never got a chance to physically thank her, but I thank her for that," Remy continued.

During the interview, Remy revealed that she had grown a lot since her experience in jail. The former Terror Squad member said she was now ready to release new music and although she learned a lot, she is not going to back down when it comes to her rap skills.

"I've had enough time to map it out... So far everything is going according to plan... like I said I'm very blessed and I know by the grace of God that I'm sitting here talking to you, and people are excited about me being here and I'm still able to do my craft and I still have my mind in one piece and I'm in one piece," she added.

Remy served six-years of her eight-year sentence in the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women for shooting Makeeda Barnes-Joseph in the abdomen over a missing sum of $3,000. She was released in July 2014 and immediately began recording new music with DJ/Producer DJ Khaled.
