Project 86

Project 86's new album Knives to the Future is releasing next Tuesday, November 11, and today they offered another sneak peek with the release of "Ambigram."

The song was exclusively previewed on AbsolutePunk.net and can be heard here.

The track, "Genosha," was also recently featured on RevolverMag, and can be heard here.

"Genosha" continues on the same vein as their previous sneak peeks with the band's signature sound. Vocalist Andrew Schwab sounds downright beastly on the vocals.

"'Genosha' is one of the most hectic and emotionally vulnerable songs I have ever been a part of with this band," said frontman Andrew Schwab in a press release, "It's one that does not relent until it's finished with you. Lyrically, it explores the empowering emotions which come from the realization that when abuse in a relationship occurs, the victim is not to blame. If you have been wounded by another, there is great freedom in realizing that it was not your fault."

The album is slated for a November 11, and will also kick off a tour. "The album is about a search for truth and destiny through rediscovering secrets hidden in your past," continued Schwab, "Sonically it is heavy, deeply emotional, desperate, and very personal. I'm very proud of what has been accomplished both with the fans and the music in this recent chapter."

According to their press release, 18 new tracks were recorded including an acoustic one, "We have loved pushing the envelope of evolution on every Project 86 release and this record is no exception. The inspiration behind this record is completely different and its been incredible to write and record with such a talented group of guys," said lead singer Schwab in a statement.
