"Prison Break" season 5 is certain to arrive soon as a link to its release date and new cover art have been revealed.

On May 11, Prison Break Writers, an official Twitter account for Fox's "Prison Break" series, wrote that fans would find out the air date of the show this week. This serves as an answer to the question of Twitter user guime (@venkvale) tweeted with regard to the launch of the fifth season of the "Prison Break" series franchise.

Prison Break Writers updated the series' status on May 12, as it wrote that the announcement for the show's release day was about the halfway point. Now, it is yet to be revealed as to when "Prison Break" season 5 will hit the small screen.

With "Prison Break" season 5 coming to television, YVRShoots also tweeted some production images online. On May 6, an image in the Vancouver set was shared, showing Lincoln in a Middle Eastern cafe on set; however, Michael was absent, which suggests that the character could be out of the country and not behind bars.

According to Christian Today, he was actually imprisoned in Yemen and people thought that he was already dead. However, Lincoln and Sara are set to learn that he is still alive, as per Parent Herald. With such details, it is assumed that his friends are set to help him get out of hail.

Recently, Prison Break Writers also took to Twitter a new "Prison Break" season 5 cover photo. It wrote on the social media, "Hey guys, check out @PrisonBreak's new official cover art! Pretty snazzy, right? #PrisonBreak.
