'Pokemon GO' News: Nests Changes On September 16, Magikarp Is The Best Pokemon Buddy?

While players are busy catching Pokemon and battling various gyms in Nintendo and Niantic's "Pokemon GO," details on features like nest changes and Buddy System have surfaced.

According to Pokemon Go Hub, the next nest migration is set to be on Sept. 16. As per the publication, the nests change every 23 to 24 days, noting that the last nest migration took place in Aug. 22. Thus, Sept. 15 is the 23rd day and Sept. 16 is the 24th day.

It is added that nest migrations only have impact the nests in the first wave, as per the report. Ths means local spawn changes and its frequecies go with a pattern that has less relevance with the nest changes. The first migration was noted to be on July 29 while the second was on Aug. 22.

As per Forbes, Niantic has released a new feature in "Pokemon GO," the Buddy System. According to the publication, this feature lets players to pick a Pokemon and train it by walking certain distances to obtain an upgrade or an evolution candy. As per Kotaku, this means that the best choice as a Pokemon Buddy is Magikarp, as the fish Pokemonneeds 400 Magikarp candies to evolve into Gyarados.

In the "Pokemon" video game, the players' characters walk or run distances or ride their bicycles to reach specific number of steps to hatch an egg or to boost a Pokemon's happines.

In terms of evolution, the Pokemon is usually trained through battling wild Pokemon, trainers, and gyms to level up and evolve at a certain level. Some Pokemon evolve through stones, such as Eevee using the elemental stones; trades, such as Machoke and Kadabra; happiness, such as Golbat; and certain items, such as Upgrade for Porygon and Reaper Cloth for Dusclops.

With the nests changing on Sept. 16, it is assumed that more "Pokemon GO" players will be able to complete their Pokedex soon.
