PlayStation Plus Free Games for December 2014 & January 2015 Confirmed: PS4 Titles Revealed

Following the PlayStation Plus announcement of free games this month in Europe and North America, Sony is again gearing up its launch of free games for its PS4 for December 2014 and January 2015.

Sony revealed that in December 2014, the DC superhero fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition and the indie multi player game, the Secret Ponchos, will be included in the Instant Game Collection and will be available to all Playstation Plus members on PS4 for free.

Meanwhile, in January 2015, the list of free games will include the puzzle game, The Swapper, Infamous: First Light and Infamous: Second Son.

Although the free games announcement was only made known via the European PlayStation Blog, it is expected to take effect in North America as well, following the earlier announcement of free games for the PS+, which was rolled-out not only in Europe, but also in North America.

Traditionally, PlayStation Plus offers up to six free games for each month, so members can expect that Sony will be revealing two more PS3 games and two PS Vita games that will be revealed as an addition to the list of free games for December and January.

In addition to the announcement, PlayStation's blog also revealed that the DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition, which members have long waited for to be included in the Instant Game Collection, is still not ready to be launched.

Game developers and the Evolution Team is working to get the DRIVECLUB up and running and will be launching the DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition to members once it is ready.
