Founder and former lead singer of the Newsboys, Peter Furler, now solo artist, announced last week, that he started to work on a new album.

December 5, Peter Furler mentioned on his Facebook page, "Its official. I started working on a new CD yesterday with good mates Steve Taylor, John Mark Painter and Jimmy Abegg."

Furler's fans couldn't hide their excitement about the news. Some of the Furler's fans' reactions:

T. M. "Ah! Yay! I was just watching Not Ashamed vhs today. I laughed as I looked back. Loved your music then, and as I have grown and changed, Newsboys/Furler's music has too, and has always remained my favorite! I am so excited for more!"

Furler's latest album titled On Fire, released in summer 2011 on EMI. On Fire featured Steve Taylor, Phil Joel and Bill Furler. The album with upbeat pop sound with a little bit of techno reaped a success.
