Percy Bady's Kingdom Inspirations Available Today

Kingdom Inspirations, the highly anticipated new project by Grammy®, Dove and BMI Award-winner, Percy Bady, drops online and in stores today. Released by Maranatha! Music through EMI CMG Distribution, Kingdom Inspirations explores Bady's very personal story of hope and resilience in the face of life's many challenges.

"I'm so excited to release this new body of work to the listeners and supporters," Bady said of Kingdom Inspirations. "This CD is my life set to music to encourage, uplift and inspire. God birthed Kingdom Inspirations and trusted me to share it with listeners to give them hope when things get tough - facing everything from financial setbacks, marriage issues, raising kids in today's culture, to spiritual struggles. It's tough. I had a lot of hard things that happened to me during the making of the record which prolonged the process, and there are certain songs that wouldn't even have been birthed without the experiences that I had."

One of those experiences shines through on the debut Gospel radio single "I Won't Give Up," featuring Canton Jones. The single speaks about strength and resilience during difficult times and is an anthem of Bady's. "I Won't Give Up" is impacting gospel radio and gaining momentum on the charts. Bady will premiere the new track during upcoming television appearances including LeSEA Broadcasting's "The Harvest Show" on May 9 and The Word Network on May 17.

"Painful But Necessary," a deeply profound song on Kingdom Inspirations, is the featured track of Bady's new music video. The video reflects on struggles that many people face such as divorce, economic setbacks, sickness, loss of a loved one, and sends a message of hope and encouragement that with God, those moments don't have to prohibit a life of happiness and success. Bady is a not only a talented vocalist, but he also utilized his gifts as a producer and songwriter on Kingdom Inspirations, spotlighting a side of the artist that was nurtured as a young child.

"I've always felt I'm here to do music," said Bady. "Ever since I played and could understand what my playing and what music did to an atmosphere, how it made people smile and laugh and sing along. I always knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to evoke those same emotions on the writing and production of Kingdom Inspirations. Prepare to be uplifted."

Bady currently serves as Creative Arts Director for New Life Covenant in Chicago and spearheads A&R for Maranatha! Gospel.
