Parks and Recreation Season 7 Spoilers, Release Date: Season to Close Series For Good

The release date for 'Parks and Recreation' Season 7 is set for early 2015 on NBC. Fans must be feeling a bit mixed right now, as they are happy for a new season coming, but at the same time are sad because it's the last season.

According to KpopStarz, there will be a cameo appearance by the German actor and director Werner Herzog. Flavorwire says, Herzog broke the news at the Brooklyn Academy of Music during the Q&A session.

During a press conference, Chris Patt shared his specific ideas about how the series finale might turn out, "I think people are ready for it to be done. The creative, they have been working very, very hard. They've done what 130 or 150 episodes or something like that? And so that's a lot of work.

He went on to say, "Day in and day out they're writing episodes and trying to create stories that can somehow stay fresh with this same core group of characters...they've done a tremendous job but eventually you just run out of stories to tell about these characters without it becoming hackneyed and becoming sort of jumping the shark and turning into something that wouldn't honor the characters."

"So I think everyone just got together and decided, 'hey, we're going to give this thing the ending that it deserves and give the fans something that they can really enjoy-complete the stories for these characters."

Fans will have to wait until the final season actually airs to find out what really happens in the first episode. The first episode of Season 7 is entitled "2017," while the second is called "Ron & Jammy."
