'Outlander' Season 2 Cast, Release Date News: Richard Rankin, Stanley Web Star; Lord John Actor Speculation Revealed

With "Outlander" season 2 upcoming, the series' cast have been revealed, with some actor speculated for the role of Lord John.

According to Access Hollywood, "Outlander" season 2 stars Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield, Stanley Weber as Comte St. Germain, Lionel Lingelser as Louis XV, Frances de la Tour as Mother Hildegarde, and Laurence Dobiesz as Alex Randall.

"Outlander" season 2 also stars Rosie Day as Mary Hawkins, Dominique Pinon as Master Raymond, Robert Cavanah as Jared Fraser, and Andrew Gower as Bonnie Prince Charlie, among others.

Meanwhile, several actors have been speculated to play the role of John in "Outlander" season 2.

According to TV Line, the following actors could play John's role in the second season of "Outlander:" "Harry Potter's" Tom Felton could be suitable for the role for his hair color and accent while "Lewis" star Laurence Fox for playing the role of secretive Detective Inspector James Hathaway.

Three more actors who could play the role are "Hitman: Agent 47" star Rupert Friend for his soldier like role in the film," "Son's of Anarchy's" Charlie Hunnan for playing "bad**s" character Jax, and "Sleepy Hollow's" Neil Jackson for playing Abraham van Brunt.

The other five actors include "Emerald City's" Oliver Jackson-Cohen, "True Blood's" Ryan Kwanten to emphasize John's "boyishness," "Sleepy Hollow's" Tom Mison for rocking an antiquated-looking hairstyle and British accent, "Smallville" alum Alan Ritchson to hghlight John's "sex appeal," and "Downton Abbey's" Dan Stevens for his similar looks with the "Outlander" season 2 character.

The release date for "Outlander" season 2 is yet to be revealed.
