Olympic Gold medalist McKayla Maroney slammed the online hacker who recently leaked racy photos of her and other female celebrities such as Kate Upton, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jennifer Lawrence on the Internet.

"The fake photos of me are crazy!!" wrote Maroney on Twitter on September 1, "Was trying to rise above it all, and not give 'the creator' the time of day... BUT... YOU SIR, NEED JESUS."

Then after some Twitter users questioned her statement regarding the validity of the shocking photos, she issued the following statement on Twitter:

"Shout out to my fans for defending me all day long... even when things got weird u stood by me and that meant the world," tweeted Maroney.

Maroney is best known for when she and her Fierce Five teammates (Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and Aly Raisman) won the gold medal for USA women's gymnastics team at the artistic team all-around competition on July 31, 2012 at the Summer Olympics in London two years ago.

"Love ya girl. #WeAreStrong #Champions," tweeted Douglas in support of her friend and former teammate.

Raisman echoed Douglas' sentiments when she went on Twitter to share her opinions regarding the leaked photos controversy that is currently surrounding Maroney.

"This scandal is not a joke and it is upsetting that an invasion of privacy results in entertainment for some," tweeted Raisman. "Please respect the fact that the photos were private and not for the whole world to see. My heart is broken for the women who were violated. Every person is entitled to their own privacy. I am saddened that something like this has happened and I hope it never happens again."

Like Maroney, Mary Elizabeth Winstead also addressed the controversial pics that were leaked online and the hacker who is responsible for the heinous act of invasion of privacy.

"To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves" wrote Winstead on Twitter, "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only image the creepy effort that went into this... Feeling for everyone who got hacked."

Jennifer Lawrence's publicist issued the following statement regarding the issue surrounding the 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actress.

"The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence," said Lawrence's publicist in a written report, according to Fox 4KC.
