The official line-up of Dancing With the Stars contestants is set to revealed September 4th on Good Morning America, but that hasn't stopped rumors from spreading about the season 17 cast members.
Christian Today stated that Kym Johnson will be leaving the season 17 show and will be joining Dancing With the Stars Australia as a judge. Johnson confirmed the rumor by tweeting the news herself saying, "So excited to share with you my new project, I will be a judge on DWTS Australia #istillcallaustraliahome." Johnson has won the mirror-ball twice while competing on the show, once with Donny Osmond and again with Hines Ward from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
TMZ has also been dropping names who are supposed to be on the new cast of season 17. 74-year-old Emmy winner Valerie Harper, who played Rhoda on The Mary Tyler Moore Show was named, but what is more interesting is that she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and was given 3 months to live.
MTV's Jersey Shore star and new mom Snooki (Nicole) will be appearing on season 17 after her co-star "The Situation" bombed during his season on the show. Original Glee star Amber Riley, former Saved by the Bell stars Jessie Spano and Leah Remini, Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, baseball player Jason Varitek, and actors John Stamos and Seth McFarlane are all allegedly going to be on season 17 of Dancing With the Stars.
We're not sure if the list thus far is accurate, but we will know officially September 4, 2013 on ABC's Good Morning America, stay tuned for updates.
