'Oceanhorn' News Update: Action-Adventure Game Sells More Than 1M Units, Runs On Nintendo NX?

Cornfox and Bros.' action-adventure video game "Oceanhorn" is in full swing as it has sold a million units across all platforms and in this regard, the game is expected to support more platforms, including the Nintendo NX.

"Oceanhorn," a "Legend of Zelda: The Wind Maker"-inspired game, has sold more than a million units between the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in just a few weeks, Game Rant has learned. According to Game N Guide, the game's "Monsters of Uncharted Seas" became successful that it was followed by "Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm." As per the publication, Cornfox thought that the sequel could be the same to the first, but it is yet to be confirmed.

In a press release, as per Nintendo Life, developer FDG entertainment announced that "Oceanhorn" is set to be ported to even more platforms soon, which include the PlayStation Vita, Android, and a Nintendo console.

As per the publication, FDG might be referring to the Nintendo NX, which is yet to be released, or the Nintendo Wii U. However, the latter reportedly has a "poor" market position at the moment, which means players may also see the game in Nintendo's New 3DS.

It is also expected that Nintendo NX players might play their Wii U games on the former, so a crossover is also probable. But then, the game publisher may also opt to hold the game's release and maximize players' excitement, along with the forthcoming Nintendo NX.

Developed by Cornfox & Bros., "Oceanhorn's" "Monster of Uncharted Seas" was initially released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Macintosh in 2013.
