Fans are freaking out however, because rumor has it that the former Vampire Diaries lead actress is in a relationship with Austin Stowell.

Fans are alleged to have seen Dobrev and Stowell sharing a kiss during the Indianapolis 500 on May 24^th. It looks like they have been spending a lot of time together lately, for certain.

As Dobrev enjoyed the races, she appeared to be enjoying Stowell's company too. Fans who say that they saw the two kiss took to Twitter to express their apparently uncontainable excitement for the new couple.

Dobrev was recently spotted spending time with the actor on May 11^th, and the pair took several pictures together in a photobooth, with an unidentified friend, making silly faces. In a few of the pictures, Stowell even has his arm around Nina.

Fans think that the coupling makes complete sense. Stowell has starred in two movies with Selena Gomez, who is best friends with Dobrev.

The couple starred in the films, In Dubious Battle and Behaving Badly. Since Gomez and Dobrev spend so much time together, it is possible that Gomez introduced her two good friends, and the rest is history.

Those who have been following Dobrev's love life would agree that it is high time for Dobrev to find closure with her ex boyfriend and former co star, Somerhalder.

While she revealed that she is still friends with him and she is happy about his marriage to Nikki Reed, it is refreshing to see her moving on indeed.
