Salvador frontman Nic Gonzales is releasing his first solo album, "My Life is Yours." But that's not the only noteworthy part, as 100% of the royalties of the six-track recording will go to the charity Autism Tennessee.

Nic Gonzales, who's married to Latin pop singer Jaqi Velasquez, said in a statement that his new album is deeply personal.

"The songs were written for my sons and are about my boys and about my dad and some of the lessons we're trying to teach our kids," Gonzales explained. "The EP became part of our journey as a family. 'My Life Is Yours' is a reflection of that journey."

Nic Gonzales has been fronting for the band, Salvador, for almost two decades and he said that his new album, "My Life is Yours," is something that he needed to do for himself.

Autism Tennessee executive director Babs Tierno said that they are very happy for being chosen by Gonzales as the beneficiary of the royalties for "My Life is Yours."

"I know autism is a cause close to his heart and with his support, we will continue to create a community of support and inclusion for individuals with autism," Tierno added. I have enjoyed all of Nic's music over the years but for so many reasons, I hope this EP is a hit."

But Gonzales said that choosing to give the proceeds to a charity was an easy decision.

"If there's anything in this life that we can do to help others, I want to be part of that," he said. "That comes from my dad. My dad would help anybody; a 'shirt off his back' kind of guy.
