Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III recently spoke at a press conference after getting hurt on the field and although fans noticed that he was in good spirits, they also noticed his Jesus T-shirt was put on backwards. This left fans questioning why it was reversed.

Griffin dislocated his left ankle on the field and he addressed the incident at a Redskins vs. Jaguars Post Game Press Conference. The player was seen walking into the press conference with a Not of this World T-shirt that read "Know Jesus, Know Peace, No Jesus, No Peace," shortly after before addressing the reporters his shirt was turned inside out.

An upbeat Griffin however still managed to include God with his answers to the reporters. "You never wanna get hurt you want to be out there and be available for your team mates," he told one reporter, "It was just an unfortunate situation because it wasn't on a hit or anything it's just something that happened, but in moments like these you just have to keep the faith and stay with it and believe that everything happens for a reason and God has a plan."

Washington Post sports blogger Dan Steinberg noticed the T-shirt switch and took to Twitter, offering a side-by-side comparison:

When fans and others started to question the switch, Michael Phillips, another reporter responded to the allegations with a tweet explaining why Griffins, Christian shirt was reversed during the press conference.

According to the Washington Post, Griffin has been fined in the past for violating the NFL's league apparel rules. Although the athlete has been limited in his apparel he has never shied away from talking about his faith. His NFL career has broadened his platform to spread the message. His Twitter feed always has a boost of encouragement and scriptures on it.
