New Movie "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete" Drops in Theaters Today [PROMO INSIDE] [OFFICIAL TRAILER] [WATCH NOW] Starring Jennifer Hudson & Skylan Brooks

One of the most talked about films will be hitting theaters today October 11. The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete from Codeblack and Lionsgate is now in select theaters.

 The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete introduce Skylan Brooks and Ethan Dizon's, co-starring Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Anthony Mackie, and Jeffrey Wright. The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, takes place during a summer in New York where 13-year old Mister (Skylan Brooks) lives with his un-fit mother (Jennifer Hudson) who is apprehended by the police, abandoning Mister and his friend 9-year old Pete (Ethan Dizon) whose mother has also gone missing.

The two boys are left to fend for themselves, which doesn't come easy while dodging child protective services and the hardships that come with living in the Brooklyn projects. Mister's survival skills kick into play and he believes he is invincible to the world, but it is ultimately his vulnerable that keeps the two in God's graces.
