New iPad Announcement 2013: Release Date, Price, and RUMORS / iPad 5 Will Be Released on October 30^th or 31^st 2013 [VIDEO]

There are many rumors that the new Apple iPad will be released on October 30^th or 31^st of this year. The new iPad will be called the iPad 5 and will feature many of the same updates that came on the iPhone 5S, such as a fingerprint scanner and a gold casing. The announcement for the new iPad 5 should happen at the private Apple event on October 22^nd.

Forbes reported, "All indications are that the iPad announced on October 22 will mirror the 5S in terms of color options, A7 chip and fingerprint sensor."

There are several rumors surrounding the price and specs of the new iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2. Darrell Etherington wrote about these rumors on TechCrunch.com. He wrote, "...As for the iPad, the 5^th generation is rumored to be getting a makeover that will include a smaller bezel and a thinner and lighter case, to match the iPad mini's current design. The iPad mini, however, may gain slightly in terms of profile and weight, in order to provide additional power for similar long-lasting battery life despite the better, double resolution display. We could also see fresh Apple TV hardware, though probably just a new version of the settop streaming box, rather than the mythical television set sometimes floated by analysts over the years."

The new Mac Pro and Macbook Pro should also debut at the private Apple event in San Francisco on October 22 according to rumors. Customers can also expect to see a debut of the new Mac OS called "Mavericks."
