Dove Awards 2015 Nominees: New Artist Lauren Daigle Receives Multiple Nominations [VIDEO]

Centricity Music's Lauren Daigle was honored with three Dove Awards nominations at the Gospel Music Association's nominee press conference.This marks the first Dove nominations for the powerful vocalist, following Daigle's win at the 2015 K-LOVE Awards for Worship Song of the Year.

Daigle's Dove nominations are: New Artist of the Year (Category 8), Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year ("How Can It Be") and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year ("How Can It Be"). The 46th Annual Dove Awards will take place on Tuesday evening, October 13th in Nashville, TN, with CCM Magazine (www.ccmmagazine.com) streaming the red carpet, pre-telecast and other non-broadcast show activities for exclusive backstage coverage. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the program on Sunday, October 18th.

At the same time, How Can It Be remains in the Top 5 on iTunes Christian Albums chart. The title track and last single is No. 7 on iTunes Top 10 Christian downloads, while her second single, "First," is racing up the charts. It's currently No. 4 on the same iTunes chart, No. 12 on Billboard's National Christian Audience chart and No. 17 on AC Monitored.

Daigle's music has been getting great exposure, as she wraps up the Outcry Tour 2015 with Hillsong United, Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, among many others, and will soon join Air 1 Positive Hits Tour with Crowder, Finding Favour, NF and 3 For 3.
